Ji Zhang is a New York State licensed attorney and a foreign trademark specialist. She has long been engaged in intellectual property and cross-border legal work, with core areas of practice including foreign-related trademark protection, trade secrets, IP licensing, Freedom to Operate (FTO) analysis, and data compliance.

Ji Zhang has a combined legal education and practice background in both China and the United States. She has worked or interned at Rouse Consulting (Shanghai), the New York State Attorney General's Watertown Regional Office, the Innovation Services Legal Center, and a Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic in the United States, where she participated in trademark prosecution and copyright litigation support, legal research on IP going global, China-EU data law research, federal tax dispute resolution, and legal and policy research on emerging technologies. During her time at the Innovation Services Legal Center, she conducted analyses on intellectual property, Freedom to Operate (FTO), trade secrets, and licensing agreements for new technologies developed by startups in the New York State region. At Rouse Consulting (Shanghai), she supported trademark prosecution and copyright litigation and drafted legal documents relating to data compliance. She also served as a legal specialist at the Dongjiang Free Trade Port Area Administrative Committee, where she oversaw and reviewed administrative penalties in the areas of state-owned land and construction, handled administrative reconsideration and administrative litigation, and supported administrative legislative research in related fields.

Ji Zhang holds direct admission to practice law in the United States and has substantial local practice experience, enabling her to provide Chinese clients with precise U.S. intellectual property legal services.
